The Court Lodge - Longfield, Kent - UK

A brief history compiled by Ted Nichelson

Greetings! My name is Ted Nichelson, I have created this website primarily to provide some information about my European descendants, the Hickmotts, Seabrooks, and the Sharvelles who resided in the lost Court Lodge from 1891-1953. In addition, I am including some historical information about the property and rare photographs. I know my family would enjoy hearing from any of our other descendants scattered around England who find this site, so please do not hesitate to send me a message at through my personal website: www.yourharpist.com

I went to London in August of 2001 to see the remaining Longfield Churchyard where my relatives are buried and our family church, which is still standing. You may be interested in the many photos I have included here.

2007 Update: This website has not been online for several years now, but I have received several requests for it to be posted again. It is exactly the way it appeared in 2001, but I will make an effort to make some updates.

Special thanks to Roger Cockett of Southfleet, Kent and John Evans of Longfield, Kent for submitting these materials and making them available to the general public.
