I just wanted to say thank you again and to let you know that the harp was a hit!!! Absolutely beautiful. - Steve and Donna V., 3/22/08, Camarillo, CA Ted Nichelson and his harp provided a beautiful atmosphere at our wedding in a mansion. Our guests were amazed by his ability to create such an elegant mood. One song in particular was extremely complex, and Ted played it with great expertise. Ted was always willing to help. He was instrumental in helping us plan the order of our wedding. He provided music recommendations that fit with the flow of our ceremony and provided samples of music if we were not familiar with his recommendations. Ted was professional, timely and handsomely dressed for our occasion. The music and Ted were perfect for our evening. We highly recommend him. - Mike and Renee, 2/15/08, Monticello, IL Ted added elegance to the private dinner party I held for my family. My mother who is older in age usually does not like any background music. She called and said that the music was enchanting. My brother in law thought it was a CD before he entered and saw Ted. Ted played the whole two hours without a break. He played throughout our dinner. I kissed him on the cheek at the end of the night and hugged him tightly to express my gratitude as he had added SO MUCH ambiance to the event. - Susanna D., 1/5/08, Los Angeles, CA From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you for your beautiful harp playing at our wedding. You added the perfect and most memorable touch to our special day. All of our guests commented on how beautifully you played and what a lovely atmosphere you created. Many of them had never seen a live harpist so you were an extra special experience for them. From our initial conversations to the time the wedding ended you were an absolute pleasure to work with. Your kindness, warmth and professionalism made us so at ease on a quite hectic day. You are such a gifted musician and a wonderful person. We just can't thank you enough for helping make our wedding day so perfect. - Julie and Michael, 12/01/07, Whittier, CA My experience with Ted was wonderful. He is very professional and easy to work with. At the end when I was stressing over all of the final details, it was nice to not have to worry about the music because I fully trusted Ted. The Trio played wonderful together. Ted worked with me on the song choice and I trusted his opinion. I would definitely recommend them and my overall experience was great! If I had to do it all over again I would not have made any changes. You will not be disappointed. - Ami D., 10/14/07, Mission Viejo, CA A few months ago I went searching for a harpist on the internet. I came across your website and I was very impressed. I immediately contacted you to arrange a wedding day performance. I was so pleased with the professional manner that you had. You answered every question I had in the timeliest fashion. On September 8, 2007 you played the harp with Sara’s accompanying flute at my son’s wedding in Huntington Beach , Ca. Your music was absolutely beautiful! The entire group of guests, who attended, was also, so impressed with your talent. Thank you for making my son’s and my new daughter’s special day a huge success. I could have stayed inside the Church and listened to the heavenly music that you performed for weeks! I am trying to think up a new reason to have you and Sara play again! Thank you again Ted! - David and Mary T., 9/8/07, Huntington Beach, CA What a beautiful service we had because of your harp playing! Our ceremony was everything we hoped for and more because of you. Thank you always! - Krystal V, 6/16/07, Wedding, Costa Mesa, CA Ted created great ambiance to the event. He made a special effort to accompany my daughter. I was very pleased and recommend him highly. -Patricia L, 4/28/2007, Birthday Party, Van Nuys, CA Dr. Ted Nichelson truly contributed to the success of our wedding. Our ceremony room wasn't big enough to hold a string quartet, so we decided to look for a harpist to play for our wedding. Like most people, we first went by word of mouth, then got on the internet to look for vendors. Finally, we came across www.yourharpist.com. I knew I found the right person when he responded to my inquiry within a day. He's fair in his price and his talent speaks for itself. All of our guests raved about how beautiful our ceremony was, all thanks to the beautiful music Dr. Nichelson provided. I thought I was taking a chance when I hired him because I had never met him in person and had only communicated with him mainly through email. However, all of my worries were put to rest when he actually called me a week before the wedding to confirm the details! He was prompt and played until the end of our ceremony, from beginning to end, he played for more than the hour we hired him for. Dr. Nichelson's talent and his sense of responsibility to his clients makes him the top choice for any occasion. - Geoyce Wedding, March 10, 2007 I can only imagine the surprise and delight of the casual visitor to the Botanic Gardens in Claremont. They would have first heard what they thought was a harmonic of nature, then realized it was a melody as the structure of the notes became apparent. The light filtering through the trees, the guests and wedding party in the various roles of Renaissance daily life from regal to peasant, all blended for an audio-visual experience that approximated time travel. You, resplendent in your white renaissance shirt, creating the melodies dear to our heart helped to create the scene. The layer of sound that emanated from your harp, tickled the conversations, wafted up through the leaves, fed the day with its auditory delights. You made the day. The sun shone brighter than it was supposed to that day so the clouds wouldn't block the music.- C&H, 2/2/07 Many thanks to you and your website for the wonderful structural diagrams
of the harp. My 9 year-old-daughter and I have been searching all over the
internet for pictures that will aide in her report presentation. What a
blessing -- thank you! - Christina and Abigail,
2/26/07 Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on Friday night. Your playing added such a classy touch to the evening. - Amy, Detroit Historical Society Where do I begin? The kids! They loved your presentation. Every class I had yesterday talked about your assembly. You were "cool!" Your music "Awesome!" The harp "HUGE!!!" Your presentation..."The Best!" Everyone, from little ones to big ones, were unanimous in their appreciation. The teachers joined in...all were so appreciative of your taking time from your busy schedule to share your time & talent with us." - Patricia Weer, Colene Hoose Elementary School Thank you so much for the beautiful harp music you played for our wedding ceremony. You are an extremely gifted musician, we are confident you will go far with the talent you have. We've received positive comment after positive comment regarding how beautiful and romantic our wedding ceremony was because of the harp music, and we can only agree. - Randy and Shellie I have been helping my 11 year old daughter search for information on the harp for what seems like hours. Thank you for having such a great website. It has answered most of her questions. Yours is the only site we found with a labeled diagram of a harp on it. For that we are truly grateful. Carry on with your wonderful work, it is much appreciated. - Sandy E Thanks so much for all your help in coming to our church and playing your harp so beautifully on Palm Sunday. It was so wonderful and refreshing to hear you perform. It was terrific! - Dr. Daniel Schuetz, Shalom Lutheran Church The residents are still talking about your wonderful program here at the
Village. The music was quite impressive and a good mix of material. Thank
you for your attention to detail and good planning. -
